IntelePeer Calls Out
IntelePeer - an automated telecom company - suffered from the Great Resignation. They had no processes or documentation for over half of the marketing department. I worked with the team and key stakeholders to develop efficient ways to produce large amounts of content on a tight schedule.
Leveling Up
I took the opportunity to create a holistic
Coordinated with content creators, stakeholders, and writing agencies
Established and enforced company style guide for the writing team
Set up SEO-based blog process fulfilling multiple content needs
Conducted content audit and followed through by updating, removing, and planning content
Re-started and produced branded podcast
Blogs That Rank
I introduced SEO into the blog strategy. With keywords and a timeline, I delegated writing while managing the style guide and editorial calendar. I developed a structured narrative of blogs for products and campaigns for each level of the marketing funnel. Result? Within three months we had blogs on relevant SERPs getting organic clicks.
Managing It
With a team that had less than three months of experience at the company, I stepped up to help manage everything from processes to the content marketing mix. I loved the strategic marketing opportunities at IntelePeer.
Pursuing A Podcast
I quickly got a forgotten company podcast, “Take It From Your Peers,” up and running, though the company had influence over guests and topics
Learned audio editing and podcast distribution
Drove listeners to the company website
Rebranded for a wider audience and shareability including social media, newsletters, and a branded subreddit (never implemented due to economic layoffs)
Ran production schedule
